Keep Hope Alive

Keep Hope Alive

Text: Romans 5:1-5, Romans 4:17-21, Romans 15:4

In our natural lives and intellect we sometimes consider Hope to be less powerful than faith. It sounds like its power is limited to uncertainty and no real expectation or anticipation. But a careful study of scripture shows Hope to be a supernaturally God ordained force that even gives birth to Faith.

In Romans 5:1-5, Romans 4:17-21, and Romans 15:4 the word hope comes from the Greek word elpeece which means confident expectation and anticipation of receiving a desired good, faith; usually with pleasure.

In fact, hope is a mentality or way of thinking.
